At Verisona Law we are happy to provide work experience opportunities to students looking for a practical insight into life at an innovative law firm. We make a limited number of one week unpaid law work experience placements available to those undergraduate and graduate students who are actively seeking a career in law, or to applicants who are seeking a change in career.
Our placements are offered in June/July in a broad range of our legal departments for the duration of one week. The placement could be entirely based at either of our offices, or split between the two sites, depending on which departments are involved in the placement, and will generally involve shadowing a member of our team. This may include seeing clients (with their consent); undertaking research or drafting responses; and may also involve some routine office administration which is very much part and parcel of working in a law firm.

Please note that applications are accepted only during the two month period from 1 January to 28 February each year, for placements in that calendar year. Applications received outside of this period will not be considered.
When we receive your application, we will email you to acknowledge receipt. Applications will be considered in March, and if you are successful you will be notified by 31 March and given a work experience placement date. You may be required to take part in a telephone interview prior to selection.
