A team of walkers from Verisona Law are set to take part in the Chichester Legal Walk this week to raise much needed funds for legal advice agencies in Havant, Chichester and West Sussex.
Across Havant, South and West Sussex there are areas of high poverty and need. Access to legal advice helps those people to get out of poverty and distress. The 10k walk aims to provide much needed support for the charities which help over 30,000 of the poorest and most vulnerable people in the area each year.
The need for the service, particularly in the areas of debt, employment, benefits and housing, has grown over recent years but the funding for providing that help has not kept up.
Taking part are staff from across our offices in Portsmouth and Waterlooville: Carla Burt, Charlene Griffin, Charlotte Attwood, Claire Simmons, Grant Usher, Hayley Pierson, James Woodhouse, Jeremy Paterson, Kirsty Hughes, Louise Griffin, Maria Hart, Millie Durose, Nadine Walsh-Gonzalez, Paula Cooke, Robert Small and Tracey Longdon.
