Support for Bolton Wanderers

May 9th, 2019

Famed for providing the legal support for the historic High Court ruling that saved Portsmouth Football Club in 2013, Verisona Law is continuing to provide help for struggling clubs with its latest appointment to represent the interests of fans belonging to the Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust.

‘Following yesterday’s adjournment of the winding up petition faced by the Club, to allow an administrator to be appointed by the secured creditors, we will be using our expertise and experience to help find new owners for a much-loved club that is at the centre of many local people’s lives,’ says Verisona Law’s Head of Business Law, Michael Dyer.

‘We have successfully negotiated difficult situations and overcome obstacles many said were insurmountable for other clubs in the past, and I am confident we can do the same for Bolton Wanderers.’

The Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust is a democratic, not for profit organisation of supporters, committed to strengthening the voice of supporters in the decision making process at the club, and strengthening the links between the club and the community it serves.
