A 76-year-old retired teacher has been jailed for sexually abusing a vulnerable young boy at a boarding school in the 1970s. Ken Wells, of Bracken Dale, East Goscote, near Syston, abused the boy while working as a house father at the former Sheringham Court School in Norfolk. He was convicted of three counts of indecently assaulting the boy following an eight-day trial at Norwich Crown Court and was jailed for six years. he school, which has since closed, was for children with behavioural difficulties.
