The annual celebration of Portsmouth’s community of property professionals which took place at The Royal Maritime Club at the end of last month has been heralded a great success by organisers, guests and sponsor Verisona Law.
On Friday 24th February, over 200 people representing surveyors, estate agents, professional services and property developers gathered in the Trafalgar Ballroom of The Royal Maritime Club for the Portsmouth Property Association’s Annual Charity Dinner.
Dressed in black tie and evening dress, assembled guests including the Lord Mayor Councillor David Fuller, enjoyed a three course meal and a variety of speeches, including a highly entertaining address from Guest Speaker, The Right Honourable Michael Portillo.
The evening also raised over £4,600 for twelve local charities including the Portsmouth Autism Support Network, Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth Neonatal Unit and the Portsmouth Family Welfare Association.
‘The PPA Charity Dinner is always a great opportunity for members of the local property industry to get together before the year starts to get busy,’ says Michael Dyer, Chairman and Head of Corporate & Commercial at Verisona Law.
‘2017 is going to be an interesting year as the process of Brexit begins, so never has there been a more important time for associations such as the PPA to come together and share thoughts, experience and advice.’
